Essential Oils Level One Training Course

Fully accredited Essential Oil, Safety, Uses & Blend Course brought to you by Essential Thyme.  It comprises of home study on the theory side with a theory quiz, followed by 4 days of hands-on learning.  You will examine 40 Essential Oils & 5 Carrier Oils and discover the aromas of the oils, how to use the oils in a safe way and how to mix the oils to create your own blends for different conditions.  After the practical days you will be required to complete some case studies to show your understanding on what you have learnt both in the theory and practical days.  Once your assessor is satisfied with your ability and understanding you will be awarded your Essential Oils Level One qualification.

Course Times: Arrive from 09:45am, course starts 10am, finishes no later than 5pm.

• Home study theory on the history, therapeutic properties & chemistry of the oils
• You will learn 5 carrier oils & 40 essential oils
• In person Practical training sessions (4 days split over 2 weekends)

• Certificate will be issued once the student has completed and passed their practical training, Theory Quiz and Case studies.

This training is fully accredited by ABT, which means you are able to obtain insurance and practice as an Essential Oil Prescriber once you have passed the course and received your certificate.

**Please note that this course does NOT include any elements of massage.  If you wish to incorporate using essential oils into massage, as long as you currently hold an accredited qualification in massage you can then incorporate the oils into your massage sessions.  Alternatively, you can study Swedish Massage with Essential Thyme

***Student will be required to purchase their own essential oils in order to complete the case studies and for their future practice.  Essential Thyme will advised on different suppliers where oils can be purchased.
