Essential Thyme use the time spent on your appointment when calculating our prices rather than based on therapy type so you can be sure our prices are fair across the range!
Not everyone fits in a box, therefore at Essential Thyme Therapies we believe that everyone is unique and deserves to be.
Therefore instead of choosing a specific therapy to pay for, you just choose a time slot from 30, 45, or 60 minutes for your massage experience.
After a full consultation with Sandra looking at medical history, areas of your body giving you issues such as pain, etc. We will decide which areas to concentrate the massage on and Sandra will work you which massage method is best for you on the day, this could mean that you have 3 or 4 different massage techniques into the one session, making your massage experience unique to you on that day.

Massage Memberships
As an alternative to block bookings, Essential Thyme also offer 4 levels of Massage Memberships which will entitle you to monthly massages and other discounts on training, products and further therapies. To find out more visit our Massage Membership page
Pregnancy Massage Policy
Essential Thyme is unable to offer massage to anyone who is in their First Trimester of their pregnancy. However, massage IS available from the Second Trimester onwards.
Please check with your GP or Midwife that they are happy for you to receive a massage – and if you have any questions prior to booking, please get in touch by calling 0191 468 2054, by emailing info@essential-thyme.co.uk or by completing our Contact Us form.
Please note that Essential Thyme is unable to offer Aromatherapy Massage to breast-feeding mothers.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or amend your appointment, please get in touch by telephone, text or email no later than midday the day prior to your appointment.
If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, your full appointment charge will be applied.
If you arrive 15 minutes or more late for your appointment without contacting Essential Thyme to advise you are running late your appointment will be classed as a no show and full appointment charge will be applied.
