Give your feet a treat with a Thai Foot Massage

Thai Foot Massage

Why not give your feet a treat?

Thai massage has been around for many years by the Thai Royal Family.  In 1955 the Wat Po School of Traditional Massage was opened and offered courses in Thai massage including Thai Foot massage to the public.

This massage involves working on the feet and up to the knees, with a mixture of massage, stretching and pressure points along the SEN lines.  As well as the therapist using their hands, fingers and arms during the massage they will also introduce the use of the  foot stick, this is used for more of the pressure points on the feet which will help to stimulate the SEN lines and thus working on other areas of the body to open up and let the energy flow around the body, and it produces a deep and unique feeling of balance, relaxation and well-being – true bliss!

Some of the benefits from a Thai Foot Massage are:

  • Helps with stress reduction
  • Helps to assist with relaxation
  • Helps to improve Blood circulation
  • Helps to strengthen the immune system
  • Help to stimulate the lymphatic system
  • Encourages the body to heal
  • Helps with lowering blood pressure
  • Helps with stiffness and improve flexibility in the legs and hip joints
  • Improves sleep
  • Helps with pain and discomfort from Plantar fasciitis
  • Helps to clear the mind and focus thoughts

It is very similar in principles to that of Reflexology.

If you are looking for a real stress-reliever, this treatment is just what you need…
