When I mean the ‘C’ word of course I am talking about Christmas, yes I know its only the start of September but behind the scenes at Essential Thyme there has been a lot of planning and preparation to introduce to you a new bigger and better Christmas range, I have even had to take on some Elves from Santa’s Kick Start Scheme just to help out with the preparation, and even before they would start work we had to make sure that all the Elf and Safety procedures were in place (they were already there in case you were wondering ).

So if you celebrate Christmas you might just think all the magic happens on one day of the year, well that might be the case for Santa, but for other people in the trade it’s a lot longer process. 

Did you know that the large stores start planning their Christmas range around March, so we are a little behind them with the planning this year, hence why we needed help from the Elves.

Last year saw the launch of the Wax Melt Advent Calendars and as they were so popular we have brought them back this year and also extended the range to showcase the following:

Also back by popular demand is our Pigs in Baubles, yes thats right Wax Melt’s in the shape of pig faces all enclosed in a bauble which can be hung from the tree.  Currently they are in one popular fragrance, but can be made bespoke to your requirements, just contact Head Elf at Essential Thyme and they will be able to sort you out, just be nice to them or they might inform Santa to put you on the naughty list this year.

So what happens behind the scenes for preparing for the Christmas Product Range?  Well after testing out a large range of fragrances and discounting some very odd smelling ones we have come up what we think is a nice assortment of Christmas Fragrances.  Once these are chosen then the fun begins of melts loads and I mean loads of wax, adding colour, sparkle, fragrance, and pouring them into a range of moulds, waiting for them to set before popping them out of the moulds.  We then have the fun of filling up and labeling all the advent calendars and Baubles with all the melts and other products so they are all ready for pre orders available soon.

Another new offering launched in time for Christmas is a range of 4 different gift packs, which will included a pack of Wax Melts, Reed Room Diffuser, Liquid Hand/Bath/Shower Soap.  These will be available in either; Lemon Sherbet, Coconut & Lime, Baby Powder or Inspired by Snow Fairy.
