Workshop – Introduction to Indian Head Massage

Half Day workshop

• Introduction to the basic principles of massage
• Understanding the different massage Techniques
• How to deliver a massage safely
• Understanding when you can’t give a massage due to health conditions

Do you love having your head massaged? Why not learn how to carry out an Indian Head Massage, this can be done with or without massage oils.  On this workshop Sandra will demonstrate the routine without the use of oils, so this will be carried out through your clothes.

Sandra will talk you through the safety aspects for both you and the recipient of massage, what oils/lotions are used to deliver the massage as well as how to deliver the massage without oils.  You will then be shown the massage routine, you will then be able to practice on each other or a model can be provided if there is only one person on the workshop.

Once the workshop is complete you will receive a certificate of attendance.  Please note that this workshop will not qualify you to practice massage in exchange of money, its only a basic introductory session, if you enjoy it and want to be able to massage to a wider audience, you can enrol onto the Indian Head 1 day training course which is fully accredited and will allow you to gain insurance and the right to practice subject to you passing the course.
