In the dictionary, its definition is a mental state achieved by focusing one’s awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one’s feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations, used as a therapeutic technique.

Mindfulness Course

Mindfulness is about dismissing your distractions and learning how to incorporate meditation as a tool in assisting you in your meditation.

It is easy to get bogged down dwelling on the past and even easier to worry about the what-ifs of the future. So this course’s main aims are to help you to improve your skills. Which in turn will benefit your mental, physical and spiritual well-being and keep you grounded in the present.
 

What will you learn in this course?

This course contains 15 chapters, as well as an introduction to mindfulness and a conclusion to tie in everything that you will have gone through in the course.
 
Some of the topics covered in this course are:
  • What is it and what are the basics of mindfulness
  • Home Practice – how to practice in the comfort of your own home or happy place.
  • Thoughts, emotions and breathing
  • ADHD – this is a big one. People who have a diagnosis of ADHD or ADD have trouble concentrating and often lose focus. Mindfulness has been known to help those people (even children) to refocus their minds and stay on task longer.
  • Moods, pain, sleep disorders.
  • And so much more.
We’ll also cover how to track your progress in this course. All of this for just £15
 

Mindfulness for Meditation Course

Mindfulness for meditation is about teaching you the eight attitudes of mindfulness, how to compare these attitudes to your own current state of mind and then how to put these attitudes into your journey.
 
This course aims to help your guide yourself in learning how to apply the eight attitudes in practising meditation.
 

What will you learn in this course?

Some of the topics covered in this course are:
 
  • Living mindfully – sitting, breathing, sensations, thoughts and emotions
  • Exercises – to put that theory into practice
  • Mindful Life Design – Exercises to help you put your mindfulness for meditation into practice in your daily life.
  • Mindfulness in walking
  • How to journal your progress
